The UCL Drawing Gym is an initiative by Trevor Flynn and University College London that helps engineers improve their sketching and visualisation skills.
The website provides free access to a range of video lessons covering oblique, isometric, axonometric and perspective sketching. The site also inlcudes a case study of the Templemann Library – showing how drawing skills and techniques enable efficient communication between engineers, architects and others during the design of a building.
The site also includes an image gallery of engineering sketches that illustrate the practical benefits of sketching in the engineering profession.
