We are delighted that we will be cooperating with Dr. Sunday Popoola and his time to produce the CONSTRUCT-funded concrete videos that we are producing for Expedition Workshed. The videos will be shot in the civil and environmental engineering department’s newly refurbished materials testing laboratory.
The collaboration came about as a result of a conversation in a muddy field in Norfolk. I was supervising engineering students at the Constructionarium when I got news of the funding for the videos, and I just happened to be standing next to the lead technician from the Imperial College concrete testing lab, Stefan Algar, who had also been supervising students. He put me on to Sunday, and a collaboration was forged.
We can also confirm that the videos will be shot and produced by Aeries Films.
