There are numerous online encyclopaedias of structural and civil engineering from around the world. We think these are some of the best:

  • Structurae – a large database containing technical information, photos and reference literature for over 60,000 structures from around the world.
  • Brantacan – Has some fascinating content predominantly about bridges

If you’re a student and you’ve carried out research into a particular engineering project, get in touch – we might be able to feature your work on the site.
