This week we’re taking one of Workshed’s most popular features to a whole new level. At the Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering Open Day, September 12th, some of UCL’s best research will be showcased, including a rather epic take on Catastrophe.

We’re aiming to steal the show with a projector-sized rendition of the game in the quad, free for all to play. What’s more, we will be premièring the use of sound effects and, if they escape the lab in time, potentially motion-sensing controls. If the idea of shaking a giant-sized Eiffel Tower tickles your fancy, join us there. There’ll also be a range of other projects including The Concrete Microwave and UCL’s attempt to slow our ageing…

Along with our developer’s conference September is shaping up to be an exciting month for Workshed. Stay tuned for more of the action!
